Advising Info for Juniors- Fall for Spring

Printout and check your Checksheet

How many credits do you have at the end of this semester? you need 120 to graduate!
What does it say your year is? You need 90 to be a senior next year.

When do I sign up?

  • Undergraduate students will be assigned registration periods of 6:00 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. beginning Monday, November 14 through Friday, November 18. Student are assigned registration times based upon the credits they have earned.

Can take Courses:

GNOMON STUDENTS! You sign up for: GNOM 301-21 12 credits- You also should have some alternate classes just in case you don't get accepeted or the acceptance doesn't come in befor registration.

EVERYONE ELSE
You now are pretty free to take anything that you need in your Gen Ed's and CG major.
Classes that you may want to look at ( offered only in the Spring)

Arts Rigging for animation TR 1:00 - 2:50 PM if you want to do more 3D- animation

Arts 260: Photoshop- Photoshop for the artist

an if your are interested in it offered only in every other Spring:

MUSIC TECHNOLOGY (MUSC 133 21 ) M/W/F 12-12:50

This course is an introduction to current music and audio technology tools for personal computers. This course provides an overview of computer music, audio tools, and terminology including MIDI, synthesis, sequencing, scoring, and direct-to-disk audio recording. Classes involve discussion of practical applications for this technology in multimedia productions such as video, CD- ROM, computer animation, and live performance, culminating in the preparation of recorded musical projects using a computer and synthesizer

I strongly suggest if you haven't taken it as it is offered only in the spring.:
INTRO COMP SCIENCE WITH C++ & JAVA (CISC 175 21 ) M/W/F 9-9:50

or

CISC 165: Programing in Basic Tu/Th 7:30-8:45
as it is not offered every semester and is required for your major

 

take at least one PEAC....


look at arts 190: Community Service...

 

If you haven't taken it:

FIGURE DRAWING (ARTS 210 21 ) M/W 2-3:50
and/or
SENSITIVITY & THE CREATIVE PROCESS (ARTS 104 21 ) M/W 10-11:50
