Gymnastics

...for strong, confident, flexible kids
Teams
Team - Ages 5 & Up: With a priority of helping your child feel successful developing skills and accomplishing personal goals, our Gymnastics Team participates in Levels 2 through 9, where each child is challenged according to her own ability. Competition is based on level and age group; each gymnast learns a routine or skill set to perform and compete with at scheduled meets. The Gymnastics Team is a full program-year commitment. Parents can choose to pay in a monthly payment plan or pre-pay at the start of the year. There are also bartering opportunities. If this is your first year to consider the team, you will receive payment information at the Team Evaluation Day or you can request it at the Front Desk. Gymnasts must be Facility Members to be on Team.

Gymnastics Classes - Ages 6 & Up
We are happy to announce our new Gymnastics curriculum for the 2006-2007 program year, in which all participants will be provided with appropriate instruction based on ability, not age, and will receive complete Skill Evaluations at the end of each session to mark their progress. And we’re also pleased to announce that we will feature two public performances each year, at the holidays and in spring, where class participants can have the opportunity to show off their skills.
Rollers/Swingers - Ages 6 to 12:The course content for this program is for beginning levels, where basic skills, positions and proper landings are taught at each of four locations: bars, beam, floor and vault. Safety skills and values reinforcement round out the Y’s gymnastics experience. Evaluation will be held the first class of each session to determine which level will best suit your child.
